It's a lot of fun, and there is a lot of help you can get on the Mando Mercs site at [link] but don't forget to do some research on the site before you ask questions on the boards

Just takes time and effort, and money of course depending on what you are trying to do. Some can do it real cheap and others can go several hundred $ and up.
